About Us

For 25 years the S&A magazine has been a powerful yet persuasive voice about disability and lifestyle issues. Connecting people with and without disabilities, the magazine’s aim is to inform, interest and inspire. With the changing times, S&A also evolved. From a two colour to a four colour product; from a print copy only to an add-on audio format; from a quarterly to a monthly; and finally from hard copy to online format.

Today, S&A is available in a new and interesting avatar – as a podcast, in Indian Sign Language and as an online read.

About Ability Foundation

Ability Foundation is a national cross-disability organisation established in 1995 as a public charitable trust
for the empowerment and mainstreaming of Persons with Disabilities.

The vision of Ability Foundation is to pave the way for a society where
persons with and without disabilities walk hand-in-hand, work shoulder-to-shoulder and
where diversities or differences are accepted, acknowledged and celebrated.

Our work is towards the foreseeable future, when people with and without disabilities forge a community together.
Where no one is ‘special’, yet everyone is special. Where potential is recognised and encouraged. Regardless of whether one has a disability or not.
